As a Survivor of domestic violence herself, Danita Davis developed T.I.E. Resource Centers, Inc. as a way out for many women who have suffered the same fate. Danita has committed her life to helping others who are imprisoned in abusive relationships, as she was for many years. As a community visionary and leader, Danita believes she survived her ordeal because she was meant to fulfill a higher purpose in life. T.I.E. Resource Centers is her passion and her commitment to providing healing for families everywhere.
As head of the Inspiration Center, Danita has been credited for penning and producing a stage play entitled "Storms of Life". This theatrical performance is a product of the Dramatic Arts Therapy Program developed under her production company, Inspirational Productions. The story portrays through song, dance, poetry, and theatrics the story of how Danita and her children escaped from domestic violence. Infused with messages and a stern commitment to ending this senseless act of violence, Danita is charged with affecting the lives of Survivors through the art of creative expression.
